Data-driven marketing tech firm Zeta Interactive has acquired Acxiom's cross-channel marketing solutions business Impact. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Acxiom Impact combines insights, strategy, creativity and technology to help clients connect with their customers. The firm's analytics capabilities include web site analytics, attribution analysis, predictive modeling, customer segmentation and targeting models. It also offers strategic services for customer journey mapping, marketing strategies and program design.
Following the acquisition, Zeta says its combination of actionable data, advanced analytics and machine learning will be merged with Impact's services for clients across a number of verticals, including retail, financial services, communications and automotive. David Bonalle (pictured), Impact's General Manager, will continue in this role as it becomes a division within Zeta, and the combined business will have more than 1,300 employees operating in 25 offices across four continents.
David Steinberg, Zeta's CEO and co-founder, comments: 'As Zeta drives towards realizing our vision of solving CMOs' biggest challenges by making data actionable at every step of the customer journey, we are constantly seeking opportunities to get there faster. The combination of Acxiom Impact and Zeta brings together two like-minded companies with a passion for driving client success - across the entire customer journey, cross-channel and cross-device'.
