Henrik Åquist has joined panels and research fieldwork provider Norstat as MD for Sweden, from geo-data acquisition and provisioning firm Blom Sweden AB where he was also MD. He replaces Marie Sommar, who is leaving the company after almost ten years.
In the past two years, Norstat has appointed new leaders in Poland, Denmark, Lithuania, Norway, Italy and Germany, and also replaced its global CEO with Knut Asrud; while UK MD Matt Reynolds has left to form his own consultancy.
Åquist brings nearly twenty years' experience of business development and senior management,. Before Blom he was MD of Sagemcom in the Nordics and Country Manager of IT consultancy Rubik Solutions. He holds a master degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linköping Institute of Technology.
Asrud says the new recruit has 'a proven track record and great competencies that the entire Norstat group will benefit from'.
