Buss to Drive European Push for Yext

US-based location data management firm Yext has appointed former Criteo MD Jon Buss as Managing Director of its recently launched UK and Northern Europe operations.

Yext has offices in McLean, VA, Chicago, New York and London, and offers a proprietary service called Location Cloud, allowing companies to manage location data across their web sites, mobile apps, and internal systems, as well as maps, social media networks, directories, and search engines.

The firm recently opened its Northern European headquarters in London, and Buss (pictured) has joined the UK office from ad targeting and retargeting specialist Criteo, where he served as MD for the UK and Northern Europe. Prior to this he spent more than five years at Experian, latterly as MD, Digital for Experian Marketing Services, and earlier as General Manager of consumer insights business Experian Hitwise.
