Technology and communities business MARU/VCR&C has promoted David Gardner to the role of Managing Director and head of its San Francisco-based Technology & Retail Practice group.The company was formed earlier this year, following MARU Group's acquisition of Vision Critical's North American Research Consulting division. Gardner (pictured) spent a decade at Vision Critical and sister firm Angus Reid Strategies, providing strategic analysis and insights to clients across the retail and CPG, technology, healthcare and luxury goods sectors. Earlier, he was a Senior Analyst at Millennium Research Group, a Marketing Analyst at HJ Heinz, and a category management exec at eBay.
Commenting on the appointment, Ed Morawski, President of MARU/VCR&C, said: 'David brings a tremendous track record of building innovative research teams and products to the San Francisco office.
