London-based agency The Nursery Research & Planning has added no fewer than six researchers since the beginning of October, with Alex Paterson, Jane Passey, Kate Benson and Sophie Marder starting out at the company and Kat Cunningham and Adam Staton returning.
The Nursery provides custom qual and quant brand strategy research, including employee mood studies, research among children, segmentations and advice for start-up businesses. Director Peter Dann says the influx of new and returning talent reflects both the company's 'dramatic growth' in 2016 and 'the pulling power of a strong vibrant company culture'. The agency has been shortlisted for the MRS award for Best Agency below £20 million turnover.
Among the new arrivals are two quant researchers: Passey, who joins after completing a BA in History from Bristol University, and Paterson who is a former Mintel and Quadrangle exec; and two qual: Benson held roles including sales and marketing at hotel group Quarter, and Marder worked as a Brand Manager at charity Teach First. The agency has also welcomed back Kat Cunningham, who worked at The Planning Shop International before her first spell at The Nursery, beginning in 2010; and former Synovate and First Movies researcher Adam Staton.
