Yorkshire-based full service research consultancy McCallum Layton has launched a statistical analysis solution called Opti/Net, to help clients assess and improve the performance of their product or service.
Founded in 1982 and based in Thorner, near Leeds, the company provides a full range of quant, qual and analytics services to clients in the consumer, B2B and healthcare sectors. It also has a Digital Research division offering online quant and reporting, social media evaluation, online portals and insight communities. The new Opti/Net solution identifies a network of key performance indicators or attributes, and measures the interactive and indirect effects each has on one another and how they affect overall delivery or customer opinion.
Led by partner Matt Counsell (pictured), the solution has already been trialled with one of McCallum Layton's retail banking clients, where it was used to evaluate customer experiences when opening a current account in branch. Counsell comments: 'Unlike many similar techniques Opti/Net does not suffer from multicollinearity so the output is more powerful; it provided our client with clear distinctions of what needed to be done to optimise customer satisfaction with the account opening process'.
