Social Media Analyst Synthesio Buys Report Tech Firm

US-based social media intelligence and listening platform Synthesio has acquired report building and management technology firm Bunkr. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Synthesio, which has offices in New York, Paris, London and Singapore, offers a framework to help teams track consumer conversations across social and mainstream media within one platform. With the acquisition, Bunkr's technology will be integrated into this as a reporting tool; while the Bunkr team will join Synthesio to keep developing the application.

Loic Moisand (pictured), CEO and co-founder of Synthesio, explains: 'While at Synthesio we currently have our own reporting technology within our platform, adding Bunkr's technology will create even more strategic reporting based on the data gathered in Synthesio's platform for our customers.
