Israeli digital ad tech firm Taptica has opened an office in London, to focus on clients across the UK and Europe.
Taptica, which boasts Nielsen exec Itzhak Fisher among its early investors, offers proprietary technology combining big data with machine learning to target media at scale. It already boasts offices in New York, China, Korea and Japan, as well as its HQ in Israel.
Amit Dar (pictured), who is responsible for Strategic Partnerships in Europe, has relocated to London to head up the office, after two years at the company and five in the mobile industry. CEO Hagai Tal comments: 'We are delighted to open this new office in the UK, which advances our strategy of increasing our international presence. Also, being close to two prominent advertising agencies, with whom we already have a good relationship, positions us well to become a leading player in this key growth market where mobile advertising expenditure is increasing'.
