British Airways has named Carolina Martinoli as its new Director of Brand and Customer Experience. She will take up the role in August.
Martinoli (pictured) will join from BA's sister airline Iberia in Madrid, where she has worked for the past six years, and currently serves as Chief Customer Officer. During her time with the airline, she has been responsible for customer knowledge, product and services design, brand and advertising, and she has also been a Board member with the Iberia Cards, Travel Club, and Avios loyalty programmes. Earlier, she served as Product Director at Yell, Marketing Director for Latin America at the Telefónica Group, and International Marketing Manager at ICI in Brazil.
In her new role, Martinoli will be responsible for BA's brand, customer experience and service proposition, customer insight, customer relations, product development and partnership activity. She will replace Troy Warfield, who left last month after eighteen months in the role.
Commenting on the appointment, British Airways Chairman and CEO Alex Cruz said: 'Carolina has an excellent track record at Iberia and before. I'm delighted she is joining us to drive forward our plans for strengthening our great brand and investing for customers'.
