Location intelligence company Cuebiq has opened an office in San Francisco's SoMa district, where it has hired a team of martech, location and mobile SDK execs, led by former Tapad VP Sean Neems.Cuebiq provides 'geo-behavioral audiences' for cross-platform ad targeting, real-time campaign optimization and footfall attribution tools, as well as off-line location analytics. Earlier in the year, the firm received an unspecified amount of new funding, which it will use to enhance its suite of tools for publishers and advertisers, and further develop its SaaS platform.
Neems (pictured) joins as Regional Vice President, Revenue Development West Region. He previously worked for cross-device tech company Tapad, where he managed West Coast sales, and before this he was Director of Strategic Partnerships at WebMD. Earlier he held positions at Fox News, AOL and OMD. Reporting into Neems is Senior Sales Director Shawn Kiner, who joins from Verve, and previously worked at Google and Meltwater; while Sean Murphy joins as Senior Director of Supply.
