US-based social media intelligence platform Synthesio has acquired Brussels, Belgium-based Social Karma, for an undisclosed sum.
Founded in 2012, Social Karma offers the Page Karma suite of social media analytics modules, and recently launched a solution called Profiler, which provides insights about any audience by analysing how individuals interact on Facebook. Following the acquisition, Social Karma's entire team will continue to operate from Brussels, and be led by founder and CEO Thierry Soubestre.
Loic Moisand, CEO and co-founder of Synthesio, comments: 'With Social Karma, our customers will be able to build the most accurate audience personas using social data instead of traditional surveys, while also being able to receive incredible analysis on their owned channels. Synthesio will continue on its mission to transform customer experience methodologies from the analog era into scalable technologies of the digital era'.
The deal follows Synthesio's January acquisition of report building and management technology firm Bunkr.
