YouGov has given Ben Glanville the task of replicating the growth of its UK Data Services offering - including its omnibus - across a number of key markets, including Germany, France and the Nordics.Previously the company's UK Head of Data Services, he is promoted to Head of Data Services, UK & Growth Markets. He has worked at the firm for nine years, joining after spells at Kantar companies and operational roles at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office.
Glanville reports to Ray Martin, CEO of Data Services, who comments: 'During his time at YouGov Ben has consistently improved the Omnibus team's performance and developed its offering. As well as making YouGov the first firm to offer next-day results, and expanding our B2B omnibus to take a 2,000 person sample, he has also led the way in harnessing the power of the 'YouGov Cube' - our proprietary connected data set - for fast-turnaround research. This expertise will be invaluable in expanding our data services in Germany, France, the Nordics, and beyond'.
Glanville himself says of his new role: 'Establishing a consistent and connected data services proposition across our European markets - and beyond - is the logical next step in our strategy. [The Cube] is setting us apart from the completion by enhancing our research targeting and our analytics, so we are in a unique position in the market to capitalise on this powerful tool and continue our strong growth'.
