Research Now SSI says it has adopted a 'territory-based' structure in the EMEA region, where it has named former SSI MD Chris Watson as Managing Director, EU. Five other senior leaders now have new titles and/or regional responsibilities.
Research Now and SSI merged last year into a privately held company with Court Square Capital Partners and HGGC, their respective previous majority owners, remaining as majority owners of the combined business. Watson (pictured) joined SSI in 2010 as MD of its UK business, having previously worked at Greenfield-Ciao Surveys as Senior Director, Client Development, and co-founded international market research agency Qureshi Marketing & Research (later acquired by MASMI Research Group). Earlier he spent fifteen years at Kantar-owned BMRB, in a variety of operationally-focused positions.
As part of the EMEA restructure, Research Now SSI has created sales and client services positions to work in closely aligned pairs who all report to Watson. Former Research Now MD Christian Dubreuil becomes Managing Director, UK, with a continued role in business development and building the firm's presence in the country.
Marlies Kerklaan, previously SSI's MD for the Benelux region, is now also responsible for business in The Nordic region; SSI's previous MD for France, Spain and Italy Renaud Farrugia becomes Managing Director, France and Southern Europe; Research Now's former MD Germany & Central Europe Ute Jaeger-Wolfe has been named MD, Germany and Central and Eastern Europe; and Will Singleton, who previously worked for Research Now as Divisional Director, Strategy - EMEA, is now Divisional Director for the Strategy and Consulting Sector, EMEA.
In a statement, Research Now SSI said: 'Both legacy companies have a strong reputation in the area of service, and this organizational structure will ensure we build on that reputation, even as we grow through a broadened range of products and services'.
