MRSS Brings in First CFO for Acquisition Support

In Mumbai, Majestic Research Services and Solutions (MRSS) has hired Retassh Bhansali as its first Global Chief Financial Officer. Part of his role will include supporting future company acquisitions.

MRSS India is the subsidiary of full service MR firm Majestic Market Research Support Services Ltd, which has a presence in eighteen countries across the Middle East and Asia Pacific region. Last month, the firm reported a 181% increase in operating income, to Rs. 644.5m (US$ 9.6m) for the year ended March 31st 2018.

Bhansali (pictured) has previously worked as a senior exec heading the finance function of telecoms and IT companies in the UK and Singapore, including Airnet Infotech, Capsag Consulting, Soleterra and GTL. He currently sits on the Board of companies across Singapore, the UK and India, and also has extensive experience of acquiring companies in the UK and Asia.

Sarang Panchal, MD of MRSS India, says he is looking forward to working closely with Bhansali on acquisitions the firm is targeting internationally. Chairman Raj Sharma adds: 'To have Mr. Bhansali on board fills an important void and will put our financial management engine in place. We recognized that this has been impending but we have now reached the size to have a CFO of this stature and so we have timed this appointment appropriately'.
