In the US, comScore has appointed 360i CEO and Chairwoman Sarah Hofstetter as President, starting on October 4th. She will report to CEO Bryan Wiener, who worked with her for eighteen years prior to joining comScore in April.
In her thirteen years at Dentsu Aegis-owned digital agency 360i, Hofstetter oversaw the growth of the business from a small start-up with 30 employees to a household name within the industry, with offices across the country and a staff of 1,000. Earlier, as the firm's SVP of Emerging Media & Brand Strategy, she managed the Brandstrategy team that develops emotional and rational connections between brands and consumers. Before 360i, Hofstetter founded full-service comms firm Kayak Communications, was SVP of Net2Phone, and VP, Public Relations at IDT, having begun her career as an Editorial Assistant at The New York Times Syndicate.
In her new position, Hofstetter will be responsible for comScore's commercial strategy, including marketing and sales, as well as the continued advancement of its Movies Reporting & Analytics group. Commenting on the appointment, Wiener said: 'This is a great day for comScore customers, employees and shareholders, as Sarah is the most-gifted executive I have ever worked with. She is a great listener, is able to synthesize complex topics into understandable themes, and is an unparalleled storyteller. The ceiling has been raised on what we can accomplish at comScore'.
