Sampling and research tools firm Critical Mix is adding a free mobile survey option, allowing companies to pose up to ten questions among a representative sample of 200 US adults, males or females or millennials, via its UB Mobile app.The firm says it wants to encourage researchers to start using mobile for data collection, to deliver more accurate and representative response via questions in-the-moment and on devices that people use most often. Results are provided in a variety of data files, and firms can use the service as often as they wish.
Critical Mix acquired mobile-based research tech and services company UB Mobile three months ago - both were already part of consumer insights holding group Reimagine. The UB Mobile app includes gesture-based features for collecting attitudes and opinions, video and photos, as well as geo-fencing for location-based, in-the-moment targeting and collection of relevant passive data.
Critical Mix Co-CEO Hugh Davis comments: 'While mobile-first technology exists, and offers substantial advantages, its full potential has not yet been recognized in our industry. Critical Mix wants to break down the barriers by giving companies the opportunity to harness the benefits of mobile-first capabilities without experiencing any risk'.
Westport, CT-based Critical Mix has locations throughout North America, Europe, and Asia.
