Business-to-business research provider B2B International has been acquired by marcoms company Dentsu Aegis Network for an undisclosed sum.
Launched in 1998 by father and son team Paul and Nick Hague, full-service agency B2B has offices in Manchester, London, Dusseldorf, New York, Chicago, Singapore, Shanghai and Beijing. The firm's broad range of services include branding research and competitive intelligence, along with employee surveys, customer experience/VoC, decision journey research, and product/pricing and value analysis.
In February this year the company reported record annual growth, with 2017 revenue up 28% to £10.9m - helped by growth of 41% for the US division. Revenue from North America overtook the UK for the first time, and the firm hinted at further plans for 'aggressive expansion' in North America, along with a push in Continental Europe.
Following the sale, B2B will become part of Dentsu Aegis Network's full-service B2B marketing agency gyro, which has seventeen offices worldwide and is headquartered in New York. Stef Calcraft, Executive Chairman, Dentsu Aegis Network, UK & Ireland, says the combination of gyro and B2B International will create the world's largest marketing network offering specialist B2B insights and solutions.
