San Francisco-based online advertising and marketing services firm MightyHive has appointed Jakub Otrzasek as Director of Analytics, APAC.
Along with management of search, display, mobile and video campaigns, the firm provides analysis and insights, and has recently completed certification for Google Analytics 360. MightyHive is said to be the focus of a bidding war between Sir Martin Sorrell's new marcoms business S4 Capital and China's data technology company BlueFocus.
Otrzasek (pictured) began his career in his native Poland, working as a Tech Team Lead and software engineer in the insurance industry, focusing on data enrichment, data cleansing, customer analysis, fraud detection and segmentation. He then joined WPP marketing tech consultancy Cognifide, and in early 2016 he moved to Australia for a role as Lead Web Analyst for Datalicious, leading its Google Web Analytics team distributed across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia.
In his new role, Otrzasek will be responsible for building the company's Analytics Program in APAC, training clients and offering analytics consulting.
