B2b specialist Kadence Business Research has announced the opening of an office in Singapore, with Piers Lee as MD of the newly formed Kadence Asia Pacific and Paul Benning, formerly a Project Director at Synovate Business Consulting, heading up the Desk Research and Market Analysis team.
'The Singapore office provides another link in the chain that gives us global coverage, via strategic hubs in Boston, London, Sydney and now Singapore' says Lee. The office, at Raffles Place in the financial heart of Singapore, is officially open from 1st October.
The expansion was announced at an Asian themed reception attended by representatives from twenty agencies, in London's 'Champagne Bar, The International'. Kadence aims to compete with both local Asian boutiques and the established multinational research houses.
Group CEO Simon Everard says technology is the key to its growth: 'We are able to expand by utilising our leading edge data collection platforms and deploying these in Singapore. Clients undertaking global research seek transparency and timely reporting from their agency. By offering online, 24/7 project monitoring capabilities we are able to dramatically reduce project management time from the client side, not to mention the reduction of stress that occurs when local agencies 'go dark'.
'Our systems are all browser based which means we can combine local knowledge with central control. All data collected by any of our call centres are centrally held on our UK servers as if the interview was taking place in London. This allows both us and our clients to be in control of each project whether it be reviewing actual responses or checking on quotas'.
