Accenture to Acquire Bulgarian Analytics Firm GemSeek

Business services behemoth Accenture has agreed to acquire CX analytics provider GemSeek, for an undisclosed sum.

GemSeek, which will join the consultancy's tech-powered creative group Accenture Song, was founded in 2011 and boasts more than 170 employees working across its head office in Sofia, Bulgaria and in the UK. The firm helps clients in telecoms, healthcare, consumer goods and financial services sectors realize the full potential of their customer experience programs, to strengthen customer relationships, improve revenues and drive operational efficiencies. Acquired by UK-based Future Thinking in 2016, it resumed its independence when much of Future Thinking was sold to Savanta in 2020.

GemSeek employees will be the founding team for Accenture Song in Bulgaria, alongside more than 1,100 people in Accenture's Advanced Technology and Intelligent Operations Centers in the country.

In the last two years Accenture Song has acquired a number of firms in the CX and insights space including data-driven commerce agency The Stable and Australian customer insights and advisory consultancy Fiftyfive5.
