Launch in Italy and Spain for Insight Platform Vypr

Product intelligence platform Vypr, headquartered in Manchester, is expanding its business to Italy and Spain - it now has coverage of Europe's 'big five' economies, as well as a foothold on three other continents.

Vypr combines expert support with research technology, underpinned by behavioural science. Its mixture of qual and quant via mobile-first consumer communities helps clients with innovation testing and provides insight into 'what customers want to see on the shelves'. In addition to the UK, France and Germany, the company has already launched in Australia, the US, Poland and South Africa. In September it said it expects to quadruple turnover in the next three years and create more than 30 international job opportunities, with 'many more' in the UK.

The firm says it currently supports global brands operating in Europe, including Kraft Heinz and Starbucks, while the extension of its consumer community into Italy and Spain will support brands already selling there or assessing market fit. CEO Chris Williams comments: 'Our international strategy reflects where we see the greatest opportunity to support our customers' growth and where we see strong new business potential for our unique approach. Bringing Italians and Spaniards into our community means brands can now gain deep data-driven insight into consumer behaviour and intent in these leading Mediterranean economies'.
