RI Appoints First Global HR Director

Catherine Connolly, previously Worldwide Director of People and Culture at sister WPP company Mediaedge: CIA, has joined Research International as Group Human Resources Director and will become a member of the Group Board.

Based at the Group head office in London, Connolly will focus initially on aligning Research International's rewards structure with Group objectives, locating and recruiting senior global staff, and supporting unit CEOs and HR directors. She will also work closely with the Group Director for Learning and Development, Danny Wain.

Before WPP, Connolly worked in HR in the biotechnology sector. She is a Member of Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and from 1997 to 1999 was an Advisory Council Member for the Careers Research Forum.
