SSI/Bloomerce, the European arm of Survey Sampling International, has hired Michel Guidi as Chief Operating Officer (COO), Europe. Guidi leaves online panels specialist Ciao, where he was VP for Operations.
An expert in online data collection, Guidi also has prior experience as a consultant at AT Kearney. He was educated at Essec Business School Paris and Cornell University, Ithaca, New York.
Guidi will be responsible for managing the daily operations of SSI/Bloomerce, and will report directly to CEO and founder Kees de Jong, who says of Guidi: 'Michel understands the needs of the market and has proven to be an expert in this emerging industry, having spent the last five and a half years contributing to shaping the industry in Europe'. Bev Weiman, co-founder and CEO of Survey Sampling International, says it is 'the ideal time to bring on board someone of Michel's knowledge and expertise in European markets'.
