BMRA Members Stand for MRS Council

Four members of the British Market Research Association (BMRA) council, including its Deputy Chair Richard Sheldrake, are standing for election to the UK's Market Research Society (MRS) council. MRS members will be receiving ballot papers in the next week.
The MRS and BMRA recently announced plans to merge within the next few months (www.mrweb.com/drno/news4936.htm ).
The list of candidates is as follows:
- Crispin Beale, Head of Customer Research, Post Office
- Susan Blackall, Board Director, Research International and BMRA Council member
- Derek Jones, Acuigen, and Honorary Secretary, BMRA
- James Law, MD, MRUK
- Tara Lyons, MD, Indiefield
- Susan Rogers, Rogers International
- Richard Sheldrake, MD of Perspective, and Deputy Chair, BMRA
- Leslie Sopp, Head of Research, Age Concern, and Chair of Association of Users of Research Agencies (AURA)
- Ray Tiwari, Focused Sales Marketing and BMRA Council member
- Andrew Vincent, Waves
- Alan Wilson, University of Strathclyde Business School.
Leslie Sopp is also standing as Chair of the MRS, along with current MRS council member Simon Liddington. Results will be announced at the beginning of March.
