MR software provider FIRM is realigning its MR global account teams, with new 'command centers' in New York and London, designed to support a growing number of clients, and to promote the new Confirmit CAPI software. The company is also planning new developments for Confirmit.
Heading up the New York MR team will be Yaron Brenman, VP of Sales. Brenman has been with FIRM for five years, most recently managing the sales account teams in New York. His client list will now include the MR accounts of both North and South America, previously managed by FIRM's San Francisco team.
Wale Omiyale, Director of MR Business Development and a six-year veteran at FIRM, will lead the team in London. He has been leading the account teams in London and has also managed FIRM's MR business in Europe and Asia. He will now take on responsibility for MR accounts in Scandinavia, previously managed by the Oslo office.
FIRM's Executive VP of Sales, John Wakeman, says the company is 'taking this opportunity to act on the ongoing trend of consolidation taking place in the market research industry worldwide'. He believes the realignment of the teams will help the company 'better serve our clients with increased account management resources'.
Last year's release of Confirmit 10 introduced Confirmit CAPI, an offline solution for face-to-face interviewing. FIRM will continue to invest in research and development over the next year to develop the software further.
Kjell Øksendal, FIRM's VP of Marketing, says clients including ACNielsen, Greenfield, The NPD Group and TNS have 'become great advocates of Confirmit, driving us as we make ongoing investments to provide cutting-edge technology'.
FIRM's corporate account teams will continue to be managed through offices and representatives in Oslo, London, New York and San Francisco. Confirmit is also promoted through resellers in, Amsterdam, Sydney and Tokyo.
The company's web site is at www.confirmit.com.
