UK-based online fieldwork specialist Research Now is due to launch its first German office in Hamburg on 1st February, and has appointed Oliver Wölfel as its Client Development Manager. The office will provide access to the company's German online panel of 118,000 consumers, built up over the last year.
Wölfel worked previously at German research firm Ears and Eyes, where he managed research projects and maintained multinational consumer access panels.
Thomas Lapperger, currently Business Development Director at Research Now, will also form part of the German team. He is the former MD of a media, marketing and communications company in Germany.
The third member of the team is Sandra Bilz, Client Service Manager. Bilz was responsible for building the German panel (www.meinungsstudie.de ), and her role will be to advise clients on sample needs and study feasibility.
Andrew Cooper, MD of Research Now, says that the new office will allow the company 'to develop our German business in response to local client needs'.
Wölfel says his team 'will be able to use our experience of the German market to provide clients with a highly personalised service through all aspects of the online fieldwork process.'
Research Now owns the Valued Opinions (www.valuedopinions.co.uk) family of research panels across Europe (UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Republic of Ireland and Austria) and Australia. The panels consist of more than 800,000 members.
The company is online at www.researchnow.co.uk
