Research International has appointed Simon Tye as Managing Director of the company's Hong Kong office. He takes over from Hamish Munro, who moves to a new role as Regional Business Director.
Tye has worked as a Director in the Hong Kong office, leading the quantitative team, since April 2004. He has more than 10 years of marketing and research experience, and has worked in the IT, consumer electronics, FMCG, fashion retail, and automotive sectors. During this time, he has gained experience in brands, ad tracking, customer satisfaction, and product testing research.
Munro's new position is to develop and support long-term client relationships across Asia Pacific. He has lived and worked in Sydney, Jakarta, Singapore and Taipei, in addition to Hong Kong, where he has been since June 2004. He has experience in ad and brand tracking, product development and testing, ad testing, and communication development.
