Mirza Leaves Nebu for Toy Challenge

Tariq Mirza, one of the best known figures on the UK research software scene, is leaving the industry after 14 years for a 'different challenge' heading up a start-up toy company. Mirza was until now MD of Nebu UK.

He worked first as a graduate trainee at Quantime, now part of SPSS, then joined Voxco in 1999 as its UK Managing Director and Nebu in 2002. He remains enthusiastic about his last MR employer, commenting: 'The Nebu solution still knocks the socks of all the other wannabe integrated mixed-mode solutions out there.'

Mirza says Nebu remains totally committed to the UK marketplace. Account management will be handled by the UK office, but managed from the Netherlands in the short term, while a successor is sought.
