GfK Operations Leader Joins ORC

Following yesterday's appointment of a new head for its Public Sector research, ORC International has announced the arrival of Andy Waller, previously of GfK, as Head of Operations at its European Information Centre based at the Angel, Islington.

Waller worked in senior operations roles at GfK for 14 years. He has recently returned from a 15 month secondment as Operations Director with Sydney based retail and consumer agency GfK Australia Pty, where he introduced a new global production system and worked on replacement of IT infrastructure and improving performance levels. Previously he was Group Operations Director for GfK Marketing Services UK.

MD Richard Cornelius comments: 'We are very fortunate to have found someone of Andy's calibre... He joins us with a proven operations background and a wealth of process re-engineering skills and we look forward to applying his expertise to the overall management of our call centre, and face-to-face, data services and data processing operations.'

A keen club cricketer, Waller led the 2nd XI of his local side to two promotions in three seasons prior to his move to Australia.
