US-based Survey Sampling International (SSI) has announced the opening of a new office in Sydney, Australia.
The company is also launching a new web site for Australian panel members, at www.opinionworld.com.au .
President and CEO Bev Weiman says the office is mainly to provide local expertise for clients in the country itself, rather than having a wider Asia Pacific remit. 'Many of our Australian clients are primarily interested in researching the needs of the Australian market, and we believe that this focus is best served by working closely with these customers... local expertise... can only come from a domestic offer.'
Chee Ngai Ng, who will work as Sales Director Australia, comments: 'We are very excited to extend our sampling knowledge and panel management expertise to the Australian market.'
The firm was founded in 1977 and works with 43 of the top 50 research firms in the world. It is online at www.surveysampling.com .
