New Euro MD for TNS

TNS has promoted Worldpanel head Judith Passingham to MD of TNS Europe, with immediate effect. Current Europe MD Bruno Hoetzel will concentrate on TNS Infratest in Germany, whose development he has led for the past six years.

Passingham has been MD for Worldpanel, the group's continuous consumer purchase business, for the past five years, a period of strong geographical growth and significant extension of the product. She joined the group in 1990.

The company says Hoetzel's new focus reflects the importance of the German market within the region. According to Chief Executive David Lowden, 'These moves are designed to ensure that we accelerate the successful implementation of our strategy within our European custom business and to expand the depth of management that we have in this area.'
