Offshore MR services agency Markelytics has announced plans for expansion into Europe. Former ESOMAR and Nestle research chief Fredrik Nauckhoff joins to lead the expansion as Head of Sales in France.
The Bangalore-based agency offers online data collection, data processing, tabulation, analysis and reporting.
Nauckhoff has 30 years of experience in the industry, most recently as Head of Market Intelligence at Nestle in Switzerland. Before this he was President of ESOMAR until 2004, and worked for Procter & Gamble and Richardson Vicks in Sweden, the US and the UK. He received his BA from Stockholm University and his MBA from the Stockholm School OF Economics.
Outlining the company's European plans, Jasal Shah, CEO, Markelytics said: 'Fredrik is one of the senior researchers in the market research industry. With this appointment, the company will be able to leverage on his strengths and get quick access to potential customers in the European market. We expect our European operations to contribute about 10% to 15% of the revenues in the next fiscal year.'
The company also intends to expand its Asian operations during the next year, with a recruitment drive to increase its staff numbers from 100 to 250, and plans to open a new facility in Bangalore.
