MR Tech Services Firm FocusVision Acquired

Private equity firm SV Investment Partners has acquired FocusVision Worldwide, Inc., which provides video transmission and digital recording technologies for the qualitative MR industry. SV's partners include former NOP boss William 'Jay' Wilson. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

FocusVision's clients include more than 350 of the Fortune 500 and over 75% of the Advertising Age 'List of 100 Leading Advertisers.'

SV Operating Partners William 'Jay' Wilson and Douglas B. Fox will join FocusVision's Board of Directors and serve as strategic advisors to the business. Wilson is a previous Executive Chairman of NOP World, while Fox has served in senior marketing and strategy roles at Compaq and International Paper, as a marketing executive at Procter & Gamble, and as CMO of Tambrands.

Peter Houlahan, President of FocusVision Worldwide, says SV 'has demonstrated extensive knowledge of the business services and market research sectors' and will bring additional expertise and resources to help capitalize on 'great demand ... from corporations around the world.'
