Former Synovate Director Re-launches Cognicient in US

Mike Page, who left his role as Synovate's Director of Operations for Western Europe last year, is about to re-launch his firm Cognicient in New York.

Page originally set up the company in London in 2003, but put his plans on hold to take up the post at Synovate in January 2006. Prior to this he was Account Director at SPSS and Senior VP Client Service Technology at Research International.

Using specialist Cognicient Fusion software, Page's firm is able to help clients integrate market research information with existing business data to provide a holistic view of their customers.

Page explained the company's focus: 'Too many firms are failing to integrate and make effective use of the attitudinal and business intelligence data they already have. The idea behind Cognicient is to take attitudinal data and build a business around integrating that with non-research data streams. Our software links these cogs together to tell a business whether the research data is actually predictive of its outcomes.'
