TNS has acquired specialist US-based consultancy Landis Strategy & Innovation for an undisclosed sum.
The company was founded in Florida more than 30 years ago and specialises in research into consumer purchasing and product usage habits, through its proprietary MATRIX relational database technology.
Under the co-chairmanship of R&D process and consumer research specialists Robert Posten and Stephen Landis, last year the company posted revenues of $9.3m.
'Landis is a top product innovation firm and this acquisition gives us full coverage in the area of new product development in our North America Custom business and across the group's global network,' commented TNS Chief Executive David Lowden.
