Synovate India has promoted Paru Minocha to Executive Director with responsibility for overall management of its India business. Former MD Alok Shanker will be on leave until next April, and then hopes to take up a new role within the group.
Minocha, previously a Director, will report to Tim Balbirnie, Synovate's CEO for South Asia who comments: 'We have great depth of talent in our India team and Minocha's appointment as our business head is well deserved. Her research expertise and management experience will contribute to a client-focused approach and will help drive our very important India operation.'
Minocha previously worked with ORG MARG and at Blackstone Market Facts India (BMFI), where she is credited with building up the Delhi operation prior to its sale to Synovate in 2003. She has a management degree from Xavier Institute of Management Studies, Bhubaneshwar.
