Nielsen Marketing Hires Leader for China

Nielsen Marketing has appointed Chris Morley as Managing Director, to expand the company's retail and consumer research capabilities in China.

Morley moves into the role from his previous position as MD of Nielsen Vietnam. Prior to this, he served as Director of Client Service for ACNielsen Australia. For the eight years before joining the company, Morley was Director, Client Service at consumer packaged goods research specialist Information Resources in the UK. He is a graduate of Sheffield Hallam University.

Based in Shanghai, Morley will report to Mitch Barnes, President of The Nielsen Company, and also serve on the company's Greater China management team.

Earlier this month, Nielsen appointed Justin Sargent as its new MD in the UK (www.mrweb.com/drno/news7795.htm ).
