Data giant and parent of Opinion Research Corporation, infoUSA, has hired Andy Taylor as Head of Marketing and Product Development of its new infoUK.com business.Taylor joins with more than 18 years' experience, having previously been UK Marketing Manager for D&B's credit reference products, and also worked as Head of Product Marketing at Experian, MD of consumer data specialist Ebiquita and Director of Information Services at bureau services firm Ai.
The new division - which is being established to compile a database of contact names and addresses of more than 2.5 million actively trading businesses along with over three million business contacts in the UK (www.mrweb.com/drno/news7715.htm ) - recently appointed former Experian Business Information MD Richard Lloyd as General Manager (www.mrweb.com/drno/news7906.htm ). In addition, the company has appointed more than 60 members of staff at its Manchester base.
Taylor, who will be working closely with the development teams in the USA and with the UK market, says the role is 'a fantastic challenge and opportunity.'
