Beyond Analysis Buys Into Australia

London-based behavioural data insight firm Beyond Analysis has acquired Sydney-based engagement agency Enzyme Insight Solutions, and re-branded the firm Beyond Analysis Australia.

The purchase will enable Beyond Analysis to bring its approach to data - which includes everything from traditional sources to web 2.0 - to the Australian market.

Beyond Analysis provides analytical services to help clients understand their data, and tools to help utilise this data throughout its clients' business and marketing strategies. The firm has also developed a social web tracking and monitoring tool called Reputica, which predicts where and when news stories are likely to appear across the Internet.

'Australia is a key target market for us because we will be able to tap in to an excellent delivery capability and a large pool of data analysis talent within the country,' explained Group CEO Paul Alexander. 'We are already discussing significant opportunities with clients in Australia, and we believe this is a good market to lead and develop best practice thinking.'

Alexander added that the acquisition will allow his firm to make use of Enzyme's expertise in the social networking marketplace.

Australian MD and founder of Enzyme, Dicken Doe, will remain with the company and will become the new MD of Beyond Analysis Australia.

Prior to joining their respective firms, both Alexander and Doe previously worked at UK customer management, analysis and insight agency dunnhumby.
