Marianne Purdie and Guy PascoeLondon-based Purdie Pascoe will offer full service, global capabilities in both qual and quant research; and its full spectrum of services includes data collection, interviewing and moderation and advanced analytics.

Prior to this she was a Director at NOP Healthcare where she developed and ran the medical device division. She began her MR career with Upjohn, which is now part of Pfizer.

His previous experience includes three years with Deloitte Consulting and three years of business development for Carphone Warehouse. He has a BA from Oxford University and an MBA from INSEAD.

'We recognise the particular needs of the device/diagnostics market in terms of primary research,' commented Purdie. 'Given our backgrounds and experience we are uniquely positioned to provide added value research in this sector.'

Pascoe told DRNO that the firm, which was founded last month, is already working on several client projects.
