Canadian-based public opinion and market research firm Angus Reid Strategies is to open a New York office, and has appointed MR veteran Tom Neri to run it as Executive Vice President and Managing Director.
Like many of the firm's senior execs, Neri worked previously at Ipsos. His achievements at the global group included establishing two new divisions, Ipsos Health and the Loyalty U.S. Division. During his 30-year MR career he has also held senior executive positions at CRI.
Ed Morawski, President of Angus Reid Strategies comments: 'The New York office expands our global presence and offers increased capability in the East. Tom's leadership and background in a variety of sectors within market research is a major asset as we establish our eastern U.S. practice.' Says Neri: 'For me AR Strategies is an exciting new endeavor that bridges new research tools and online panel technology with advanced, client-focused research solutions.'
The New York office follows a San Francisco office established in late 2007. Angus Reid/Vision Critical operates seven offices across North America and Europe, has 200 staff and annualized revenues of $40 million. Sister company Vision Critical recently reported triple digit growth for the third consecutive year and announced a partnership with US agency CMR to develop proprietary online customer advisory panels.
Headquartered in Vancouver, the company has offices in Calgary, Toronto, San Francisco and New York and is online at www.angusreidstrategies.com .
