New Euro MD, German Office for comScore

In the UK, Mike Read has been promoted to the post of Senior Vice President and Managing Director of comScore Europe, responsible for all EMEA commercial activities. He will also oversee the firm's European offices in the UK and France, with Germany soon to come.

Read has been with the firm since 2004, during which time, he has held a number of roles including Vice President Sales, Europe.

Previously he held positions at online audience research firms NetValue and MMXI Europe. Before this, he was UK MD of international magazine auditing company, BPA International. He began his postgraduate career in commercial television, working for LWT, Meridian and TVS Broadcasting.

'With over 82% of the total worldwide Internet audience now stemming from outside the US, we expect international markets to continue to contribute a growing share of comScore's revenues,' comments President and CEO Dr Magid Abraham.

He adds: 'With his distinguished record in business development and customer service and wider experience of the research and media sectors across Europe, Mike is in the ideal position to oversee our international expansion from our European headquarters in London.'
