Financial Research Team for Ci

In the UK, Ci Research has launched a new financial services team, consisting of four individuals and headed by Director Colin Auton.

This is the company's second vertical specialist team - a public sector team was established in 2006. The launch, described as a 'mini-restructuring', is being accompanied by an offer to UK financial services research buyers: a limited number of survey questions have been made available free of charge, for inclusion in an online survey with a targeted sample of 16-26 year olds in the UK. The firm says demand for space on the survey has been 'phenomenal'.

Amongst other questions, respondents will be asked how recent press has impacted on their perceptions of financial services providers, as well as their current attitudes and behaviour towards debt.

Auton, who has client side experience with Bank of Scotland Group, comments: 'We've formed this new team because we believe it's important for any market research company to align itself with the sectors that have most to gain from its expertise. In the current climate it is becoming harder than ever for financial services providers to maintain and grow market share.'
