Global PR agency Edelman and online intelligence firm Brandtology have partnered to develop a range of analytics aimed at helping Asian marketers engage with people and communities online.
The tools will use Brandtology's pan-Asia online research service Digital Conversion Management System (DCMS), which mines blogs, forums and social media sites to analyze what is being said about brands on the web.
Edelman has been working with Brandtology in Singapore since the company was launched. The new partnership will kick off in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Taiwan, with India, Japan and Korea planned for roll out during the summer.
'Our partnership offers powerful analytical and executive dashboard tools which deliver deep online analytics that can shape more successful online engagement,' said John Kerr, Regional Director, Edelman Digital Asia-Pacific. 'For marketers, this means a massive increase in targeting efficiency online and more relevant marketing and relationship metrics - that can all be tracked in real-time.'
Brandtology recently raised $1.35m in investment funding which it plans to use to develop services for advanced social media tracking.
