Strong Results for Globalpark and iPerceptions

May 18 2009

Customer analytics provider iPerceptions Inc. has reported results for the first quarter of 2009, including a 35% increase in revenue and a rise in gross margin as a percentage of revenue to 62% from 48% in Q1 2008. Panels and software firm Globalpark has also announced a good Q1 performance.

iPerceptions cites operating and cost efficiencies, along with stable operating salaries and other expenses, as reasons for the improved margin. Revenue totaled $1.28m vs $947,230 in Q1 2008. Net loss and comprehensive loss was almost identical to the previous year at $545,535.

During the period, the company launched an online community for its 4Q survey users, and opened an office in Atlanta, GA.

'Despite operating in one of the toughest economic climates in recent history, iPerceptions continues to power ahead' comments Jerry Tarasofsky, President and CEO of iPerceptions. 'Growth is being seen across the board - in our free product, in our roster of high-profile clients, and in our own management team, as we scale our leadership group to meet the ever-changing needs of the marketplace.'

In addition to free web site survey solution 4Q, iPerceptions offers the webValidator Continuous Listening solution and the proprietary iPerceptions Satisfaction Index (iPSI). With offices in New York, Atlanta, Toronto, Montreal and London it is online at www.iperceptions.com .

Globalpark has announced strong performance for the first quarter of 2009 with revenue in excess of Euros 2.5 million. The firm says growth spanned its global operations, with revenue in North America tripled year-on-year.

Despite the recession, Dan Coates, President of Globalpark USA says clients are 'looking to innovate in order to regain lost ground... Today everything is about immediate results, and our software helps companies identify and manage what matters most in their business - the attitudes and behaviors of consumers and employees.'

The firm says repeat business has remained strong with 70% of revenue coming from existing accounts.

Founded in 1999, Globalpark is online at www.globalpark.com .
