Dennis SelfEnterprise data, analytics and software-as-a-service firm Acxiom has promoted Dennis Self to the role of President and General Manager of Marketing Services.

Acxiom combines consumer data and analytics, databases, data integration and consulting solutions for personalized, multichannel marketing strategies. Its Marketing Services division helps clients analyze their data and apply insights through a range of strategy and analytics, data science, web personalization, and maturity modelling services, as well as its Acxiom Impact e-mail and cross-channel marketing business.

Self (pictured) joined in 2013 as SVP, CIO, and a year ago moved up to the position of SVP, Delivery for Marketing Services. Earlier, he held senior roles at Gilead Sciences and Electronic Arts, and he was a Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, Hewlett Packard, AT Kearney and Andersen Consulting.

In his new role, Self will help build on the growth of the Marketing Services division, by bringing both innovation and standardization to its offering. He will be based in Little Rock, Arkansas and report to Acxiom's CEO Scott Howe, who comments: 'Our Marketing Services business is key to Acxiom's success in providing clients with the ability to manage data and turn it into meaningful insights.
