In Manchester, UK, mobile research technology firm RealityMine has hired Billy Grant for its newly created position of Product Manager.
From UK offices in Manchester and London, and a base in Sydney, Australia, RealityMine provides individual level mobile usage data via the RealityMeter data collection tool. Earlier in the year, the firm added a feature called
RealLife Media Players to its offering, allowing customers to view more granular, detailed video consumption behaviour on an individual basis, on any sample and any device.
Grant (pictured) joins with more than eight years of experience analysing, selling and developing products using digital behavioural data. He previously served as Custom Research Director at Hitwise, where he led several initiatives to deliver operational and process improvements, a clearer go-to-market strategy, and the development of new products and propositions.
In his new role, Grant will be responsible for setting the scope for new products and ensuring that the products already in clients' hands are continually improved. He will report directly to COO
Chris Shaw, who comments: 'Billy has an impressive track record of bringing new data offerings into the market, as well as the experience necessary to optimize the many possibilities that passive metering has to offer. His business acumen and strategic approach will continue driving us forward in our mission to enable our clients to reveal unique insights from real life consumer behaviour.'
