
New York-based marketing strategy, research and analytics consultancy GBH Insights has appointed Brian Smith as its first SVP in the Seattle area.
GBH offers a proprietary research model combining sector knowledge, research expertise and data analytics to better understand industry trends. Smith (pictured) joins from WPP-owned Penn, Schoen and Berland Associates (PSB), where he most recently served as SVP, Behavioral Analytics. Before this, he spent nine years at Microsoft, latterly as Senior Product Marketing Manager, having earlier been the firm's Senior Competitive Strategy Manager. Earlier, he worked for Deloitte Consulting, where he led Strategy & Operations.
In his new role, Smith will work with the firm's client base in Seattle and around the world, with a focus on clients across the telecoms, technology and other sectors.
