Canada-based research technology platform Torfac has promoted JR Venza to the role of Senior Vice President, North America. He is based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Previously known as WiseWorks, Torfac offers a range of services for survey programming, data processing and analytics, and B2B and B2C sampling through speciality panels. As well as its headquarters in Toronto, the company has offices in the US, Singapore and India.

Venza (pictured) has more than 35 years of research sector experience. He joined the company last year from Echo MR, where he served as Director, Sales and Business Development, and before this was Director of Strategic Accounts at L&E Research; Director of Key Accounts at Critical Mix; and Key Accounts Director at Authentic Response. Earlier, he worked as Managing Partner at AnswerQuest.

In his expanded role, Venza joins the company's leadership team, and is tasked with further leading and building the Sales team across North America.
