Data-driven sales automation platform SugarCRM has appointed former SAP and Salesforce exec Bob Stutz to its Board of Directors.
Sugar is headquartered in the San Francisco Bay area and backed by Accel-KKR. Its software solutions help marketing, sales and service teams improve efficiency through better automation and intelligence giving 'a real-time, reliable view of each customer'. Its acquisitions in the last few years include business prediction specialist
Node, and two of its partner companies,

Stutz (pictured) brings thirty years of experience in the enterprise software industry, including driving growth for advanced CRM solutions across a range of industries. He previously served as CEO of Marketing Cloud, Chief Analytics Officer at Salesforce, and Corporate VP for Microsoft's Dynamics CRM. His extensive Board experience includes intelligence platform
Revenue Grid, and he has also worked at HP and Siebel Systems.
